I liked everything!!! The warm welcome from Ahmet and all the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the good breakfast that changes everyday 😋 the good seafood platter that I really enjoyed at lunch times (please try) and also the location (nice sea view from the rooms) The owner Ahmet did everything to make our stay very pleasant by providing us with the necessary information to enjoy Nungwi to the fullest. I will definitely come back 😎

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at African Bungalows in Nungwi, Zanzibar. This cozy gem exceeded all my expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure guests feel at home. The food is absolutely delicious, every meal was a treat! The hotel is nestled in a beautiful garden that creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with a lovely pool. And the hotel is just a one minute walk to the stunning beach. The rooms are clean, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay and the bed was very comfortable, I had the best sleep in a long time. Another standout feature is the generator so you never have to worry about power interruptions. If you’re looking for a perfect spot for relaxation with excellent food and service in Zanzibar, I highly recommend African Bungalows. I’ll definitely come back!

We had such a great stay at Kendwa Breeze! It’s a really cozy and peaceful place, just a short walk from the stunning Kendwa Beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole vibe was super relaxing. But what really made our stay special was the staff – so friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. If you’re looking for a quiet, charming spot to unwind in Zanzibar, this is it. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonder staff and super clean room!

It was 3-4 minutes walking distance to the beach, but more importantly, it was so close to the most famous beach. The food we ate at their restaurant was very enjoyable, I recommend it. They had tables in the middle of the pool, it was a nice experience to play backgammon with my friend there. I thank the whole team, see you again in the future 👋🏼👋🏼🏖️

One of the cleanest hotels and rooms in nungwi, youssef the owner is the best person ive met in all zanzibar. He helped us a lot and he really makes sure to insure our confort. Victor two is an amazing person. Really enjoyed my stay.

First off, I want to thank Jessica for her communication and kindness during our stay. She was very helpful! Secondly, I appreciate the property manager for answering the phone for us when we were trying to find the location when we first got here. I was frustrated and he assured that he would come get us from wherever we were to make sure we made it to the property ok. The room was very clean and lovely. We stayed in the beach front villa. It was beautiful night and day. As an American (because you know we love our A/C), I was very happy about the cold A/C they had in the room. It was never hot and this was appreciated as Zanzibar is hot and humid. We had a hiccup in regards to the breakfast in the room/at the pool. I originally planned to have it on a specific day but it did not show up on that day. I spoke with the staff and they served it to us the next morning. We also had a late check out and i was very thankful they let us stay in the room past check out time. We were able to enjoy our in-room breakfast because of this and did not feel rushed at all. Shower great. Bed great. Very spacious room. The amenities in the room were also nice. I read online somewhere that the hotels typically try to keep the beach locals away from the property to the best of their ability. I will say, be prepared to constantly be sold to when trying to relax on the property. All day long , there was constantly “beach boys” trying to sell you stuff. I appreciate the security guard on the beach keeping the other tourist away from our beach swings. So many of them walked up and he kindly asked them to leave. This was nice because I feel like there would have been a line had he not been there to do this. It made us feel special. They arranged an airport drop off for us and got us on our way in time.
