We recently stayed at this property as a family, and there were definitely some positives. The location was beautiful, and the area was small and easy to walk around in, which made it convenient for meeting up with family.

The resort arranged wide range activities for entertainment. My concierge Kevin was very helpful. Whenever i needed anything, had a question, making a reservation- he helped with everything. He checked on me everyday to make sure my stay was smooth.

It’s beautiful beach and spaces, the restaurants and the spa. Manuel is a great Concierge. Eliezer at Front Desk, Daniel at the pool bar, Chamel at a Restaurant and Vianely in the spa were all great!

This resort is a perfect spot for both families and adults!! They have El Beso which is exclusively for adults only section, with pools & restaurants on the adult side. The family side is equipped for all ages!! We went for our 16 year wedding anniversary & our room door had a banner that said in both Spanish & English “Happy Anniversary”. The bed had a heart made from their towels & flowers. And a bottle of wine. Of course we stayed on the adult side but we experienced both sides! The restaurants are good & need reservations but the one we liked the best was El Mercado, the buffet one. The best part of our stay was our Concierge, Jose Miguel!! He was hands down the best!! Anything we needed, he delivered. He would even ask if we needed reservations in advance for any restaurant. He was literally available to us all day!! He made sure we enjoyed our stay at all times, even on his off days!! I can go on and on as this place was Paradise for us & loved every second of it!! Most definitely recommend Ocean El Faro! And don’t forget to ask for Jose Miguel!!
