5-Star Hotels in Mysore

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience regarding the handling of my deposit. Upon check-in, I paid the full amount for my stay along with a deposit. I clearly informed the reception that I would not authorize the deposit to be used for extra charges, as I preferred to settle any additional expenses in cash immediately. Throughout my stay, whenever I used the restaurant or incurred any extra charges, I paid them on the spot in cash, as agreed. However, during my early check-out (due to a family emergency), I requested the return of my deposit. To my surprise, I was told that the deposit had already been taken to cover extra charges—charges that I had already paid directly in cash. This effectively means I was charged twice for the same services. This experience was extremely frustrating. I had no time to argue further as I had to catch my flight, but it left me with the impression that the hotel unfairly withheld my money. Such practices feel dishonest and unprofessional, as guests should not be double-charged. I kindly request that this matter be reviewed and that my deposit be refunded promptly. I also hope the hotel will take measures to prevent such situations in the future, as they cause great inconvenience and create a very negative guest experience.

The hotel was a shocking Good Hotel better than expected. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. The guy in the reception tanmay was so freindly. Its good to see so many happy faces. Really helps

I liked the place prior to ownership change. After the name changed from country inn to county retreat, the place has been run down significantly.
