Host and owner Kerri was very welcoming and helpful in planning our stay in Te Anau. She made Doubtful Sound cruises reservations for us, pointed out great sites and hikes on the way to Milford Sound, and recommended great restaurants. Rooms very clean and are well appointed for road trip travelers including a laundry for guests to use to freshen things up. Location was convenient to walk to town center to groceries, restaurants and shopping.

Set in park-like grounds on the shores of Lake Te Anau, 5 minutes' walk from the town center, Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers has both mountain and lake views from the majority of the rooms.

We loved staying in our glamping tent for the night! It was super clean and comfortable in there. The showers and bathrooms were also very clean.

Located adjacent to Lake Te Anau, Tasman Holiday Parks - Te Anau offers a children’s playground, a hot tub and BBQ facilities. All accommodations features a flat-screen TV.

The place was huge, with two toilets, which completely exceeded our expectations. The place had facilities that made our stay more pleasant.

Great location and view. Very comfortable.

Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting. Nice, comfortable rooms, very atmospheric common spaces with big fireplace. Amazing, friendly staff. Very good food in the onsite restaurant.
