Best experience I had staying in a hotel, I can't wait to come back. Everything was perfect and the hotel itself is so beautiful. The room was very spacious, comfortable, they even offer you a pillow menu so you can be as comfortable as possible. Every night they leave a tea table ready for you. The food is really good and we enjoyed every minute!

We had a wonderful experience at this property. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was extraordinary. Cleanliness and beds were exceptional.

Sitting in 120 hectares of Douro Valley vineyards, this traditional manor house has been converted into Portugal’s first wine hotel. Absolutely everything was a 10/10. We were welcomed so kindly from the beginning - had a welcome drink with the most gorgeous autumn views over the Douro while the room was prepared. The room was beautiful, spacious and so comfortable, we wish we would’ve stayed for longer! To top it all off, we had the tasting menu for our evening meal and loved all the variations on Portuguese classics, incredible food in a gorgeous setting. And the breakfast was also perfection - a mix of buffet options with a varied menu of cooked dishes. Would absolutely return in the summer to enjoy the terraces and the pool and can recommend to anyone visiting the Douro.

We very much enjoyed the managers cocktails and speaking w/ the gentleman when choosing our wines by the glass in the tasting room.

Primely located along the bank of the Douro River, this 5-star hotel has stunning views over the valley. The view from the Double Deluxe Premium Room I stayed in was excellent. However, please note that the Booking.com confirmation mentioned a bidet, but there was no such facility in the bathroom. I request Booking.com to kindly correct the room description.

Surrounded by vineyards, Hotel Douro Scala offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony overlooking Cidadelhe’s mountains. It has a spa with a heated indoor pool, private treatment rooms, and a hot... Beautiful place, will definitely be back. The food was very good and staff were extremely friendly.

The MW Douro Wine & Spa offers 1 restaurant ( D ' Vino Flavors & Soul ) and 1 Cocktail Bar lounge ( Boho Mixology Cocktail Bar ) a Wellness & Spa center with sauna, turkish bath, indoor pool and... The view is breathtaking - make sure to book the room with the view if you want to enjoy this from your bedroom - 1/2 of the rooms don't have a view. The staff was the best I've had in Portugal. Friendly, helpful, polite, dedicated, and good English. The stay was very pleasant. The indoor pool is headed to 32C and is wonderful for evening swims and SPA facilities were open 24 hours.
