This is a lovely hotel in a lovely location, a block from the lovely bridge over the Traun River and a few blocks from the beautiful town square. This hotel offers the chance to stay at an almost 500-year-old Gasthaus that has just been renovated to very contemporary standards and re-opened as a modern, cozy hotel. Everything inside is very modern and clean without being too sleek. The staff is extremely helpful. Christian and Danielle gave us a lot of great advice and went above-and-beyond with several favors and errands. We would love to come back to Gmunden and would send all our friends and families to this hotel. If you are in Gmunden, be sure to take the very pleasant walk along the west bank of the Traun River: just cross the bridge from the hotel and turn right/north and walk north along the river.

We liked tremendously the view on the lake from our bedroom and to be able to walk along the lake. The staff was friendly and the room very inviting with its balcony.

The apartment is very spacious and light. It is fully equipped, and I wish I could stay longer there. Big balcony with amazing view of the lake and mountains. There is a lot of storage and everything you might need in the kitchen, I was surprised. Huge thank you for complimentary coffee, wine, and water. It was very considerate of you!

The owner was very friendly, she went above and beyond what we expected especially with her hospitality, friendliness and warm welcome from the rest of her family. The owner show us round the whole premises including her cool farm, which I was not expecting. We were given fresh milk from her cows and freshly baked bread. I definitely would be going back there on my next trip.

Everything was great the apartment was new and clean, well equipped and nicely decorated with a beautiful mountain view from the bedroom, living room and balcony!! I booked for the 3 pax and the sofa bed was nice and comfortable too

The house is more beautiful, than the pictures show. Fully equipped with amazing view. The air is sooo fresh..birdsong everywhere :) The Host is really nice, flexible, helpful. ..hand written welcome message and fresh flowers were waited for us when we arrived. we should return :)

Beautiful hotel at a great location. Very nice interior everywhere. The breakfast was really nice, and the dining area outstanding. My room was clean and cosy with a lovely view from the balcony. I would have preferred a little cooler indoor temperature though.
