I stayed in such a beautiful room. The hotel is just lovely and my stay was wonderful. They provided such a great experience, it was relaxing and peaceful, the staff, the rooms, the hotel and everything was exceptional. I hope to stay again soon.

Close to the center of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is stunning, and the renovation has been done with incredible taste and attention to detail. What truly made the experience exceptional was the warmth and care of the staff — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special touch that stood out: they had dog treats and a bowl of water waiting for us upon arrival. That was a first, and it meant a lot. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This is a wonderful hotel: comfortable, clean, quiet, luxurious, tastefully decorated, friendly owner ...there is nothing not to like. We were only there for one night, but we wished it was more.

This was a return visit and all was as we remembered - wonderful dining experiences, elegant rooms and beautiful grounds. The pool was most welcome too in view of the heatwave.
