There is a covered walkway almost all the way to the hotel from the station. Automated self service check in and out works, and the characters that respond as you go through the process are a cute touch. We had the most staff attention during breakfast, which was Japanese style with a fixed set meal (we had fried herring, rice and a number of side dishes with miso soup and yoghurt). The room was pretty big for a Japanese hotel and the TV had actual good channels. It’s definitely a more modern hotel and it was the best one I stayed in Ishikawa.
