The hotel is 5 minutes’ walk to Kamala Beach where there are many restaurants. The beds are very comfortable. The toilet is very modern with automatic cover and flush. There is a rain shower and also 3 layers of jets at the side. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner are of high quality. The staff are responsive. Nice swimming pool. We did not use the private pool in the room. There is a gym.

Sunwing Kamala was an amazing hotel to stay with the family. We were a family of 4 and had plenty of room in the family suite. The room and facility were clean and the staff was friendly and beyond helpful. They even helped us with a personal matter after we had checked out of the hotel. The 8 pools were great and clean, and didn't feel crowded since there were so many options. There was good variety in the breakfast buffet, including Thai and Western foods. My sons loved having chocolate milk for breakfast every morning we were there. Direct access to the beach was amazing. We had so much fun playing at the beach and waves. There's even a massage tent near the beach! There area vendors where you can rent beach lounge chairs for the day and eat meals right on the beach. We would stay here again if ever in the area.

The staff was incredible. They made my stay so enjoyable. I realized I kept on extending my stay for over two weeks just due to the staff alone. They made me feel at home. Particularly Nick and Brown , who are the most hardworking men ever, they certainly deserve a big bonus. The cleaning team is fantastic and they are very thorough. The rooms are well kept. I love the fragrance they use. Also they do the cutest designs with the towels. The rooftop is incredible and has great views and ample seating area. The pool is nice! I love this place so much I will return with my family next time! Thank you for the care (:

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When I first arrived at the hotel, the credit card machine wasn’t working to process my payment. However, the staff reassured me that it was fine and that I could pay later, which wasn’t an issue at all. From the receptionists to the owner and the cleaners, everyone was well-trained, always smiling, and offering helpful suggestions. What impressed me the most was their kindness when my two friends were scammed by a non-existent hotel. I asked the staff for help, and they went above and beyond, preparing extra beds so my friends could stay for the night. This didn’t just happen to my friends—other travelers in similar situations received the same care and assistance. Their hospitality was truly exceptional, setting an example for what every hotel should strive for. The room itself was spacious, clean, and minimally decorated, offering plenty of room to relax. The beach is just a short 3-minute walk from the hotel, and there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. Getting around Kamala Beach was easy and convenient.

Beautiful room!! right on the sea with a rustic and authentic feel to it, room was also clean, the hotel was close to everything else. Worth every penny, staff were nice and helpful, it was a perfect stay in a quiet street right by the sea and away from Patong’s noise for a couple of days, we loved the place so much we extended our stay.
