The hosts checked if we would like the fire lit before arrival, the electric blankets were on, the fridge and pantry were generously stocked for us. They even enquired about our milk preference. They supplied bacon, eggs, bread plus so much more. We were offered a complimentary late check out. If you are staying in the area don’t hesitate to book this accommodation.

The restaurant serves Australian cuisine. Great pool area and restaurant t. Friendly and helpful staff and great gym room. I loved that the pool was so huge as well as nice and clean. We had a beautiful view from our room and seen kangaroos morning and afternoon. Our room was neat and tidy and big enough for husband and 2 teenagers.short drive to Central Queensland University which was good. Also close to the road to Yeppoon.

Guests have access to an outdoor pool, laundry facilities and an on-site restaurant. There is a 24-hour front desk and a garden. Loved these chalet style apartments. We had undercover parking outside the door. Great size rooms and spotlessly clean. Had a small patio, could have done with a couple of extra chairs, which was pleasant to sit out on an evening or for breakfast. Nice pool and bbq area which we used and next to it the laundry. Whilst bbq a kangaroo with a joey in her pouch came right outside next to us. Overall we had a fantastic 2 night stay here. I would recommend the Parkhurst Tavern for food a 2 minute drive away.

Whitsunday Sands Resort is uniquely located on its own private peninsula, by the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It offers all guests private access to 2 separate, magnificent beaches. On the eastern side of the resort is Horseshoe Bay, rated as one of the best beaches in Australia, while on the western side is the picturesque Greys Bay. You can enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset over the water on the main land, from the resort. It's our second time staying at Whitsunday Sands Resorts. Enjoyed it the first time and loved it the second time. Will definitely be back again!!

The luxurious 4.5 star Homestead Stable and 4 star Pioneer Slab Hut rooms have private use of the bath terrace. All other rooms are 3.5 stars and have access to the shared swimming pool, BBQ and laundry facilities. Amazing setting, well appointed while still maintaining the local rustic charm. Excellent facilities for 1 night or a longer stay. Amazing to see wallabies and emus roaming around the property.
