Formerly a 500-year-old inn, this Derbyshire hotel in the heart of the Peak District offers rooms featuring contemporary décor, with a seating area and TV, and en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The building and the rooms are gorgeous, located perfectly on the Main Street with a bus stop right outside and a close walk to the train station. The food was amazing, highly recommend eating there, and the staff were very accommodating. The lady who checked us in and was also our server, Maya, was incredibly friendly and helpful, thank you! We would love to return to The George

Spotlessly clean, incredibly designed and so so comfortable. This was a gem of a find in the Peaks District and right down the street from adorable Bakewell. The breakfast was delicious (the black pudding!) and our stay couldn't have been better. Will stay here again the next chance we get.

The holiday home features family rooms. Lovely cottage at Waterhouses, in a good position for visiting the peak district. Will come back in Summer for cycling and hiking. The cottage is well equipped with a separate kitchen. Very friendly hosts who gave us the keys in person despite our late arrival. Thank you for the nice stay.
