The staff were very attentive. They were very helpful to suggest options at breakfast or in the bar. Remembered our names, drinks and asked about our day. Special mention to Byron (bar) and Martin (breakfast) who gave excellent service. Hotel was beautifully presented, not too big and felt homely despite its grandeur. Grounds beautifully kept.

We felt like the hosts had thought of everything to make Foulsyke comfortable. Loved the welcome book and even went on a recommended walk from the cottage to Staithes. Overall a great location to explore all along the coast. We’d love to come back soon.
