The management of the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. On the day of departure there were no more lockers at the station and we could only collect our suitcases after 6pm as we were at the opera. We went back to the hotel and the lady who was on duty on Sunday gave us the room key back so that we could deposit our luggage there and collect it after 6pm. Breakfast at this hotel is an extensive buffet of homemade foods, and is served outside on the courtyard in the summer months. On request, a dinner of Lombardy specialities is available. We had an excellent stay at Petronilla. The hotel is small but everything is done with great eye for detail. The room was spacious and well decorated with a large comfortable bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with lots of homemade things and fresh fruit. And the staff was perfect, very helpful and kind. We can only recommend!
