Fantastic staff. The main caretaker, Kaley, is great when it comes to customer service. She made sure our stay was comfortable and even went out of the way to pack picnic sandwiches for us when we wanted to venture out on our own. The safari guide, Floid, is very knowledgeable, and if you stay for 2-3 days, he'll make sure you see every type of animal you had on your wish list. These guys include 1 complimentary safari per night of your stay (so if you stay for 3 nights, 3 safaris are inclusive), and I feel it's the best package because a couple of self drives in Kruger are a must do in my opinion, just for the thrill of it. The tents are quite comfortable and have all the amenities you'd expect in a luxurious hotel room. The AC works well (believe me, you NEED it if you visit in the summers like we did), the pool is clean, the bathrooms are great. The food was superlative - we had exotic 3 course complimentary dinners every single evening. I suggest booking a minimum of 3 days to really get the most out of Kruger.

this was the best stays that we have ever experienced. We left feeling like we were leaving our family behind. front desk was fantastic and always so kind to answer our many questions. The food was delicious. They offer massages that were fantastic! The best part about this entire experience were the safari guides.they are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their jobs here and they really want the guests to enjoy each ride and get to see the animals they’re most excited about. I highly recommend this lodge for your stay. With this private lodge you get more up close and personal with the animals but with safe distance. We stayed 4 days and saw the big 5 which was really amazing.

A walking safari is combined with a late afternoon and after dark game drive. There aren’t many opportunities to do either one of these activities in Africa. Daryl, the camp manager and principal guide, is a real character in the best sense of the word. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and that of his assistant guide. Getting exercise on safari is not easy to come by and this four day three night trip really helped to overcome that problem. Daryl was a master at spotting game. We had lots of lion and leopard sightings. Seeing them at night was so cool.

The tent was clean and very well equipped with a mobile aircon, large fridge, Cutlery and crockery, a microwave, lighting, braai and braai tongs . It is located close to the SANPARKS ablutions and a short walk from the Sabi River. We were pleasantly surprised that our room was cleaned every day as well as our dishes. We could hear hippos, lions and hyena at night. What a great glamping first for us.

Marriam is super helpful. Tents have all the utensils you need. You can walk to the edge of the campsite and look at the view or sit on the comfy deck at the nearby mugg and bean.

Very comfortable safari tents, beautiful gardens and friendly staff. Lions as we drove in, leopard cubs playing in a tree with a hyena eyeing them up from below. Elzane was a passionate and knowledgeable Guide. Highly Recommended.

The perfect balance between camping and comfort. I was close enough to the outdoor experience, while still being able to enjoy the convenience of technology (e.g., comfy bed, plug points, lighting, microwaves, adequate utensils etc.)
