The Vi Nature Glamping was our favorite accommodation on the island. The facilities are perfect, the view is stunning, and it’s wonderfully peaceful. A must when visiting Madeira! We were also warmly welcomed, and the breakfast was delicious. We’d be happy to come back anytime.

The views were excellent, the morning bread was very thoughtful, the hammocks on the balcony were a great touch, everything was very comfortable, and the staff was very attentive. The fully equipped kitchen has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is located INSIDE the national ecological park, and provides access to some of the best hiking on the island. We were a family of three, and everyone slept comfortably, and enjoyed walking to O Barracão, which has amazing poncha and a great food selection. The property also has a small pond with trout, and friendly donkeys. Dioclécio greeted us, and had great recommendations for hikes and information about the local area. We would love to come and visit again!
