We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful, with amazing views and a great pool. The host was extremely kind — he allowed us a late checkout and even let us stay by the pool afterwards. We arrived easily by Uber from Funchal, and the road was perfectly fine. Highly recommended!

The fully equipped kitchen has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!
