The setting is unreal: a crystal-clear alpine lake nestled among towering green mountains, with summer sunshine sparkling on the water and wildflowers blooming everywhere. The view from my room — especially from the balcony — was absolutely breathtaking. I often just sat there in silence, taking it all in. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm. It felt cozy and welcoming, but still elegant. Traveling alone can sometimes feel awkward, but here I felt completely at ease. The staff were genuinely kind — always helpful, never intrusive — and made me feel like more than just a guest. Every morning started with a peaceful breakfast overlooking the lake, and every evening ended with a sunset that looked like something from a painting. I spent my days swimming, walking along the shore, hiking nearby trails, and simply enjoying the stillness. This place gave me exactly what I needed: space to breathe, think, and just be. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you — the kind that changes you a little. If you're considering a solo trip and need beauty, serenity, and a true escape — look no further. Stadtvilla Schladming Boutiquehotel is set in a quiet side street in the centre of Schladming. There is an on-site spa area with a sauna, infrared cabin and a relaxation lounge. Very nice hotel, staff extremely helpful and observant. Super location in Schladming, easy walking distance to most/ all things. Breakfast was excellent.

This 4-star-superior hotel in the centre of Schladming, just 450 metres from the Planai Cable Car, offers a 1,500 m² spa area, a restaurant, and free WiFi. Everything was beautiful and very clean. We really appreciated the amazing and diverse breakfast buffet, kind staff, live music in the bar and amazing spa.
