Melissa and her husband were wonderful. Sitting room and bar were a great treat! The hot tub looked inviting! Breakfast was perfect as were the coffee/tea/water station in the rooms!

The Old Cable House is just a short walk from the center of town and the beach. It was away from the main hustle and bustle so it was quiet. The hosts were amazing and everyone got a very warm welcome. It is a historical building so expect some squeaks and creaks. Our room was quite large and very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.

Perfect location, in the middle of everything. Facility was nice and clean, and breakfast the next morning was good.

The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking.

Staff {including the night cleaner) went out of the way to try to resolve my every concern. (I was leaving early for Skellig Michael and wanted to heat my coffee and although the office and restaurant were closed, the night custodian offered to both heat up my coffee or make me a fresh cup of coffee.) After learning that our ferry was cancelled that morning, we were able to enjoy an outstanding Breakfast here. Dinner was also very good.

We had a marvelous time at the B&B. Lillian and Dom made us feel at home within seconds of entering. They gave us great recommendations, and regaled us with stories about the historic building. The breakfast was fantastic! Delicious and plentiful. Lots of options for all types of eaters. We enjoyed one more long chat after breakfast, before departing to explore more of the Ring of Kerry. 100% recommend.

Impossible to tell. The area where you check in was completely torn up, supposedly for remodeling. Although I was not told before I arrived, evidently David Sheehan allowed a complete nutcase to welcome me, and that person told me they were not open for business and when I said I would call, he told me the number was disconnected. That same person led me to a hostel a couple of blocks away, where I booked a room. Quite unsettling. Worse, Sheehans has not responded to any of my messages. No refund. No nothing.

The rooms were very comfortable and probably had one of the most comfortable beds ever. The home location was a 5 minute walk from a small and active town. We only stopped her for a short stay, but all was well.
