This is a little gem of a hotel in Udaipur... located in a sweet and quiet neighborhood but still close to so many cafes, restaurants and hot spots near the lake. The staff was exceptional. Loca goes above and beyond to ensure guests are happy and have what they need. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Loved staying in this guesthouse that is truly family-owned and operated! Roshi gave us helpful advice to explore the nearby area and helped us organize a taxi from the airport when we arrived, plus a guide to give us a tour of the City Palace. We enjoyed hearing from Roshi's father the origins of their guesthouse way back in the 90s and how far it has come. The lake views from the balcony just outside the room were INCREDIBLE, especially for sunset, and the AC in the room made it extra comfortable. We didn't mind the few flights of stairs to get up to the reception/room as it's part of the charm. Bring cash to pay for your stay as card isn't an option, though there are also various ATMs in the city. We stayed for 3 nights but wished we could have been here for a week, as the location is excellent for being walking distance from many nearby places to eat & explore, yet also quiet for a good sleep. Highly recommend!!
