Great apartment with a real Japanese feel, and lots of space (we stayed in the Sengen-no-ma family apartment with lake / pond view). Perfect location for exploring the Mt. Fuji area.

❤️5/5 — A Once-in-a-Lifetime Stay with Fuji Views and the Kindest Host This guest house isn’t just a place to stay — it’s an experience. The view of Mount Fuji is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Our host literally brought us to the rooftop of his home just so we could catch the most magical view of the sun setting behind Fuji. It was one of those moments you never forget — peaceful, surreal, and completely beautiful. But what really made this stay special was the host himself. He was hands-down one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met while traveling. He went out of his way to help us — whether it was giving directions, offering local tips, or even driving us places. He made us feel so welcome, like we were longtime friends visiting his home. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, scenic, and filled with heart, this is the spot. Come for the Fuji views, stay for the incredible hospitality.❤️ For any gen-z person you would to sacrifice your life to save this host he is HIM!!!

The staff was were nice and helpful. We got in too late to eat anywhere and the owner offered to drive us to the store. Nice bathroom and traditional bedroom.

Owner was soooo polite and helpful, he helped me to book a night bus ticket to Osaka and even drove me at night to Lawson to purchase my tickets OMG, huge huge appreciation to him. He also has a restaurant near by where I met his family and tried a local food.

I had a brilliant stay. Kazu was incredibly welcoming and gave me some great recommendations for hiking and sight seeing. The hostel is very clean and the beds are spacious compared to a lot of other accomodations I have stayed in. The public transport around mount Fuji is less frequent than a lot of areas but Kazu provided me with bus time tables and recommend which to take.
