Friendly staff. Flexible check in. Good breakfast. Location was a mid point between train station and city center, which was convenient. It is “sold” as a room, but it was more than that. It had a small kitchen. Very well equipped.

What a lucky find. The property is just outside Middelburg's city centre, 20 min walk max, 5 min bike ride. Lots of bikes available that you can borrow, free of charge, which saves you the parking fees you'd pay anywhere in the city centre. Beautiful building. The owners are living on site and are extremely kind and helpful. There's a communal kitchen/ living space that all guests share and also shared outdoor space. Our room was in the back, leading to a patio that would be nice to use in the warmer months. The room was very clean and cozy with comfy beds, table and 2 chairs, small studio kitchen (definitely good enough if you want to prepare breakfast or a tea - but there's also the large, fully equipped kitchen in the common space). We found everything we needed, and more. Thank you!!
