What a treat! This building is gorgeous, so lovely just to wander around it. It’s like a museum, so many paintings and layers of history. The breakfast was sumptuous. And the spa was great too. Loved everything about it and only sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

Bica FLH Suites is located in the historical center of Lisbon, within the famed Bica neighborhood. The building which was an art gallery since the fifties, was refurbished in the beginning of 2017.

The staff were the highlight of Bica FLH. In addition to their warm welcome and general helpfulness and charm, they gave outstanding recommendations for dinner spots and even made reservations. They allowed us to leave extra baggage in their storage area while we were on our bike ride. The breakfast was nice and additionally, teas, coffee, and snacks are available 24hrs a day. The rooms were comfortable. Some rooms are louder than others due to street noise (mostly late night people) but earplugs are provided.

Anjo Azul is a renovated 18th century property, featuring a modern décor and a charming façade covered with Portuguese tiles.

Breakfast was very good, it exceeded our expectations. In fact, there were some treats left for everyone to try all day at the restaurant area. Location was very good. But what was exceptional were the staff, from the front desk (Ricardo, Walid, Cristina & Ricardo) to the breakfast service, etc.! It made us feel like it was our home, away from home. We were also surprised about the cleanliness of the place.
