Excellent hosts - they were very supportive with literally anything, be it sending luggages from Kyoto to our next destination or checking our itinerary and giving advices how to make it better. When arrived to Kyoto we followed their advice regarding taxi to take us and our suitcases to the hotel door so we’ve never suffered from taking them uphill. This really felt as if we are going to our friends and being supported in each step. Rooms and shared facilities were clean, tatami floor and futon beds were soo comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast which was provided for free, even though we didn’t try their special Japanese breakfast. Location is not too far from Gion and other main attractions, so we were able to explore to the fullest.:) Overall, definitely recommend staying at Guesthouse Soi!

The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.1 km from Kyoto Station. Had such a good time while I was there. :) Chats and exchanges with staff and hosts will be dearly remembered. Everyone is very helpful and kind. Amenities are kept very clean and tidy. The location in Kyoto is very peaceful and handy to get back to Kyoto Station. Definitely recommend it!

Located in the centre of Kyoto, 雅 is a recently renovated accommodation, which provides soundproof rooms. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station. The guest house features family rooms. Great location. Quiet and spacious room. The bed was really comfortable and I liked that I could control the temperature of the room. The facilities were clean too. Overall, it had a nice homey vibe :)

The location in my opinion, is the best in Kyoto. It was very comfortable, clean and everything was mindfully thought of. The hosts were the nicest people we’ve met. They showed us so many beautiful places in Kyoto and really cared for us to have a good stay. Maybe one of the best places i’ve stayed in. Next time in Kyoto I’ll definitely stay here again.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Azukiya is a recently renovated guest house located in Kyoto, 700 metres from Shoren-in Temple. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. Our quick two day trip to Kyoto was excellent and it was made perfect with our stay at Azukiya. When planning this last minute trip I was surprised that this B&B was available. The pictures and description on the site was exactly what we got. It was just PERFECT and gave us the Japanese experience. Our host was the sweetest and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. There are add-ons if you stay like bike rentals and breakfast but we didn't take advantage of it but we could smell her cooking every morning and it smelled AWESOME. We wish we would have taken advantage of that. The location was perfect for us. It was far enough away from the city center for us and in walking distance to the places we wanted to visit. It was also very close to the subway that we used to start our trek back home. All in all, this place was everything we expected and even more. We hope to visit again in the near future.
