Hanoks in Gyeongju

Location was exceptional and in the midst of all the traditional street / shops, which made it amazing.

We enjoyed our hanok stay. It's clean, safe and cozy. The best part is experiencing the traditional way of living. The owner gave us a lot of tips about the surroundings and we had some delightful conversations :) Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic hanok living with a personal touch!

Such a beautiful place and lovely & kind host. Very personal. The place is beautiful and sparkling clean. The location is spot on. Close to the attractions and market, walking distance if you want to. Far enough from the crowds and traffic. It's so peaceful here. Not far from the homestay, there's a great hanok style cafe facing the tomb. Strongly recommended.

It’s quiet, clean and comfortable….and private. Really enjoyed the stay. Walking distance to the historical sites. Awesome place.

I arrived early and they allowed me to check in. The welcome basket was a kind and thoughtful inclusion. The room was beautifully presented. My favourite though was stepping out into the court yard, heading up to the roof top to enjoy the sunset (with a sneak shot of soju). I enjoy walking and it was easy to get to the historic sites.

We had a wonderful stay at Hanok Desi Bom 101. It was contactless but the host was very helpful and efficient in communicating with us via booking's chat/message site on how to get there: sent photos as well as help with directions (we were given written Korean directions to be shown to the taxi driver). It's about a 20 min taxi ride from Singyeongju Station. There is a bus stop across the street that takes you to the major tourist sites in Gyeongju such as Cheomseongdae Observatory, Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, and it is walking distance from Daereungwon Tomb complex. This quaint accommodation is also close to restaurants and shops, and the main bus terminal. When I expressed my concern about not having an umbrella with rainy weather forecast, it was provided for us. All in all, our stay was a delight and I would recommend it to anyone!
