Hotel opposite train station, convenient. Central to restaurants and entertainment. Washing machine and dryer very good, thank you. Reception staff very friendly.
I stayed in a Green Tea themed room, which looked and felt premium. The room was spacious and luxurious. You get free access to the nearby fitness center with a gym and a swimming pool. There is a dedicated area for green tea and a library with tons of anime comics. There are also books about Zen, famous Seiji Ozawa, one of Japan's top orchestra conductors as well as forest and other photography books. The onsen for ladies has 2 massage chairs.
Great little place to stay for a night (or longer). We had a Family Bungalow for 4 of us, but can take 6. There is a large room downstairs with kitchen, dining table, sofa, TV etc. Shower and toilet are also downstairs. Upstairs is a large tatami mat area with up to 6 futons. Warm, clean and comfortable.
Takao-san and his partner were amazing hosts that helped us every step of the way, even for reccomendations for which mountains and restuarants to head to (they even took the effort to call and make additional reservations) We booked the mobile home, which was incredibly modern, clean and sleek, 10/10 reccomend. There was also an onsen, which is fantastic after a hard day on the slopes
Room was cosy and clean, space is comfortable for one person with 2 luggage. Lots of goods range from entertainment to beauty products you can rent. Service was beyond excellent, all the staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient.
Clean, comfortable, bungalow facilities, Netflix, washer/dryer, heating beautifully warm. The onsens were great after a day skiing. Owner picked us up from train station and dropped us off at the end of our stay.
It was a really homily and Cosy vibe. Very generous in providing the amenities. Kids love the games and entertainment room.
Incredible service and incredible overall experience. It's like staying in a fancy cabin in the snow. The lounge area with the giant fireplace is awesome, very nice food, very spacious rooms and first class facilities such as the onsens and indoor swimming pool. The decor could be interpreted as dated (as other reviews have stated) but we felt this simply adds to the warmth and cosiness of the establishment. The service here is seriously next level and it is fantastic value for money.
Akira and Yumi were excellent hosts. The breakfasts were a beautiful Japanese feast. Akira helpfully drove us to the monkey park and the train station. Photos don’t quite capture how lovely the private onsen is (and discrete tattoos were accepted). The location was in amongst other onsens and restaurants. A lovely stay for a family holiday with pre-teens.
Very spacious room with very nice bathroom! Super comfy bed and pillows. The indoor swimming pool is huge! Extremely nice view from the botanic cafe whereby you can see the snow mountain. We stayed here for 1 night after coming down from the tateyama-kurobe alpine route... Had a great rest in this resort holiday.
