Really modern facilities, large rooms, clean, big bathrooms, lots of plugs. Common area was very nice, also the play area for kids. Kitchen was big and clean. Two dining halls which is very convenient .

It was quaint. Breakfast room was quaint, food delicious. Service gracious. Bus was easy to catch to get to Luzern, in about 30 minutes. Pleasant ride. Nice antique furnishings. Could hear roosters etc. as there was a farm up the hill nearby. I'm grasping here... I booked the place cause I thought a "gasthaus" would be a more authentic Swiss experience but I think I made a mistake as, as lovely as this place was, it was not a 'haven' for travellers anymore.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Gersau, Hostel Rotschuo Jugend- und Familienferien is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake.

We were there for one night before a friend’s wedding and it was a very nice stay. The views from the balcony were lovely and the bed was comfortable, plus the room stayed cool. We would definitely consider it again when visiting the area.
