Best homestay in medan We really loved the owners they were so kind location is a bit out of medan but we didn't want to be near city center so was fine. Very nice house with beautiful garden, breakfast and coffee was great. Got to try lots of fruit from the garden and really enjoyed spending time with the hosts. They picked us up from airport and organized a shuttle bus to bukit lawang. Stay here if you are spending a night or two in medan on your way to other destinations.

The place is very clean, cheap (good value) and the owners are very friendly and helpful. I felt a little sorry for them, because the place was basically empty. I think it has potential, it is not a bad place. Definitely very clean, which is not common in hostels like that.

Really friendly owner who gives a lot of advice and helped us a lot for transport. Beds are really comfy, shower is hot and has good pressure. Huge common area to relax in w sofas and lots of chairs. Close to lots of restaurants, street food, supermarket and shopping mall.
