The host family are super gentle and generous, very kind locals. The location is excellent, tranquil and calm. The entire environment is just perfect, it is a hidden gem of Tam Coc. Walkable to everywhere. They also own a lovely garden cafe called Reply 1993 where you can find really good BBQ Pork Banh My. Tam Coc to me is very touristy but this Homestay is like a home. In a much quieter area. Rooms were large and clean with TV so was nice to chill too. 25 min to Pho di bo walking street and the ‘unicorn temple’. This area appeared to be mainly locals, had a great atmosphere and gorgeously lit at night time. It was a 1.20 walk to Mua Cave lookout and beautiful scenery along the way. The nature is present everywhere, lots of trees plants and water (like a mini Ninh Binh). PhoL, the manager of the home stay and the owner family are very friendly. I had the chance to share the local dinner with them, and had a lot of fun (I can cheers to anyone in Vietnamese now!
