I really appreciated the warm hospitality and thoughtful gestures that made my experience even better. If you're looking for a cozy place with a great host, I highly recommend staying here!

He was not so good at Enlish, however I did not feel difficulty about it (we can use transltor apps now.) Note that you will stay with the owner in a same house. This room is best as long as you do not care about it.

The staff were exceptionally kind and very helpful. The koi pond in the central garden is quite beautiful, and my son really enjoyed watching the fish swim. The breakfast was delicious as well. Staying here provided a very nice, relaxing setting away from the city landscape but was still conveniently located to most popular landmarks in Berlin. If given the opportunity to return to Berlin, I would definitely stay at Hotel Blumenbach again.

We stayed here for the Berlin Marathon and loved it. It's a beautiful break from some of the busier areas of Berlin but the U Bahn (U6) is right outside the apartment and this line is very well connected to the tourist sports or busier areas. Apartment was clean and Jurgen has done a fantastic job restoring this factory building in to an attractive industrial style apartment. Jurgen was a very accommodating host who was always on hand to help with recommendations which were all fantastic. If we return to Berlin we will be looking to see if the apartment is available.
