I personally adore the location in Cannaregio and I honestly do not know why people would not want to stay in this area. It is my absolute favorite in Venice. They owners and staff are also very nice and bubbly people. I totally recomment it.

Offering a panoramic terrace with 360° views of the city, Nuova Opera Rooms & Apartment is a guest house set in the Borgo Trento area of Verona with good bus links into the centre. Everything was electric and automated. There is a shared kitchen with a stove and a fridge. Awesome roof terrace! The whole hotel and rooms were airconditioned and smelled super clean. We have a dog and there were no issues around it. Our dog also very much liked the terrace.

The location was fantastic, within a short walking distance of most historic sites, close to multitude of excellent restaurants and the best gelato we have tasted. Francisco, our virtual host, was excellent for advice and responded almost immediately to any request we made. We had an unfortunate problem with our car in a country where we are not able to speak the language. He supported us throughout and made provision for accommodation at the Arena Suites or elsewhere in the vicinity when he did not have accommodation for us. In spite of our misfortune, we really enjoyed the extra days in Verona and more specifically at the Arena Suites - the rooms are warm and cosy and were like a home away from home. Each has a name based upon famous operas, we stayed in the Aida room.
