Value for money, both room and bathroom was very large. The location was very close to the bus terminal but the pathway was too rough for wheeled luggage around last 50 meters to the hostel (Nov 2022).

Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was great and started early if you had to leave early in the morning. The evenings were entertaining and busy in the restaurant area. The drinks were phenomenal.

The owner is kind and welcoming! The room was very clean when we arrived and comfortable to stay in. We had to extend our stay from three nights to five because of bad weather; the owner accommodated us and we felt at home. Good Wi-Fi and close to the city center.

If I’m honest, this is the best ROÍ hostel I’ve been in. Clean, socket for each bed, lockers are huge, nice breakfast, curtains in the beds and for a decent price.

Set against an impressive Patagonian Mountain backdrop, Bla Guest house is a quaint guest house in downtown El Calafate.

The staff were super helpful, good breakfast with delicious baked goods, tour options provided, room was clean, warm and comfortable, location was 2 blocks from the commercial street and a 20min walk from the bus terminal.

I thought this was a good place to stay. In a city that has a lot of tourists, this place was very reasonably priced and they treated us like visitors, not tourists. They were honest about what they thought we should and shouldn't spend money on, and they were patient when our Spanish wasn't the best. The place has pretty big rooms and a nice kitchen.
