It's a clean and well kept hostel with a swimming pool. It's also right next to Maracanã Stadium where concertsThe staff is also super friendlyand sport events are held. There are also plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in the direct area. The hostel has a kitchen and all the other amenities necessary.

The location: great, two blocks from Copacabana beach and one street up from Nossa Senhora street, which has lots of restaurants, supermarkets and shops The hostal: lots of great social spaces, a very large kitchen with multiple fridges and stoves, a bar and patio in the back. A TV, sofas, etc.. very great to spend time by yourself or with people The rooms had bunkbeds and great storage underneath (a full sized luggage fit under). The showers are great, hot water good! There was always activities to do everyday and there was always a happy hour at the bar. The staff super friendly and the travelers very nice.

I loved everything about my stay at the Rio World Connection hostel: The staff and especially the owner Marcos is super welcoming and makes sure you are having the best time while in Rio. He knows the city inside out and will give you tips on where to go and what to do - or even take you there personally. The hostel itself is just gorgeous (actually it's the most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed at). It is a beautiful old villa with a fantastic view of Rios bay and a refreshing pool. Trust me, there's nothing better than jumping into the pool after a hot day of sightseeing and to socialize with other backpackers. If you are looking for a beautiful, central place to stay where you can easily meet other backpackers and love a good pool party, this is definitely the best place to stay in Rio!

    The location is perfect and in a safe area, so it‘s a good place to explore Rio. The hostel has a bar, where you can hang out, meet new people and have some drinks, between 20:00 - 20:30 there‘s free caipirinhas all you can drink, in combination with party vibes, so it‘s good pre-gaming. Staff is super helpful, Tai is an angel, you can always ask for recommendations. Also, everyday they organize events that one can join.

    Great location in Botafogo, close to metro line and felt safe as a solo traveler. Cute breakfast with fresh cakes every day, nice outdoor area. The 2 cats of the hostel are very nice and social! The WiFi worked very well. The kitchen is great, clean and very organised, it was probably my favourite part!

    Beautiful hostel, very clean. Terrasse on rooftop. Very social vibes. Well organised. In a safe area of rio and next to copacabana. One of the best hostels I have stayed in! I had an emergency situation that made me change my booking and the owner Thibeau was very comprehensive and helped me a lot to sort everything out. Thank you so much! I wish I could have stayed longer

    It is important to put the whole review in the context of the New Year's party. The whole copacabana is exorbitantly expensive, so the prices for the two-bed rooms here were at a level where you can sometimes go to a 5* hotel in europe. Accordingly, it was disappointing to sleep on plasticised beds and plasticised pillows. All in all, however, it is a very nice hostel, in a great location, safe and with lots of activities.
