Honestly one of the best hostels I've stayed at in a while. Sure the place has the feel of a grand Moroccan riad but it was really the little adds that made it a great stay. The bunk is more like a giant cubby with a real floor so you don't need to worry about shaking the bed, noise, or navigating a small space. The bunks all had curtains for privacy, a safe, outlets, reading and night lights, drying rack, and space outside of the bed for walking or placing your bag. Despite sharing the room with 6 ppl, I didn't have any issues waiting on our bathroom. Even if I you did, you can always use one of the other public restrooms. The pool was nice and I enjoyed the patios. Breakfast wasn't the greatest in the world but it was pretty decent for free and it's hard to go wrong with eggs and fresh fruit.

I had a great stay at this hostel! Everything went very well and I really enjoyed the city. The location was perfect — right in Old Town Cargatena, which made getting around super easy. Maybe the cleanliness of the bathrooms could be given a bit more attention. But really liked the place and staff are excellent!

    Best hostel breakfast ever! Always a choice of fresh options, really substantial and was great every morning. Free coffee, drinking water and ice 24/7. Hostel is in a fab location and the staff were incredible friendly and helpful - cheap laundry service too!

    Best hostel we’ve ever stayed in, great location, lovely homely atmosphere but no 1 is the staff they are the best SO helpful and accommodating! Massive shout out to the wonderful Jorge who owns/runs the hostel who is truly one of the nicest people we’ve ever met and really made our stay in Cartagena as he gave us the best advice and really looked out for us, ensuring we had the best time.

    This is probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at many. The location is amazing, the staff is lovely, the dorms are great and well equipped (curtains on beds, AC, own power plug and light by bed, locker), there are social areas to hang out, the breakfast is great and there is someone at reception 24/7, so it's very safe. There's even a Netflix room. And the cats are sweet. I was even able to use the pool and shower before check-in, as I arrived early.
