We were warmly welcomed by Alexis who made us feel right at home! The room was big and confortable, bathroom very nice with good pressure un the shower (the best since months of travelling..) We could wash our clothes and cook, there was drinkable water and coffee available. Nice touches. Alexis had many advices, recommandations and contacts that were super useful. We went for a couple days on Tintipan and could leave our big bags at the hostel. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

Very helpful and nice staff. Especially Carlos, he can organise everything! Rooms are very basic but you have fans, big bed, mosquito net, shower and great view! (We were upstairs with mangroves view). Kitchen well equipped and you have fresh coffee made every morning. 2min to the beach.

It's a cozy house, no one to bother you, you have the room in front of the sea. It's pretty chill. I would not recommend it for slight dreamers, next to the house, there's a place that sells beers and plays music very loud on weekends.

Everything was spectacular, they are doing renovations and the rooms are looking very nice, they offered us free breakfast as compensation for the noise but we really were not uncomfortable at any time. Super recommended.

Hostel was nice and chill! There are beach beds you can relax on and take a dip on the sea from their stairs. Note that you need a boat ride to access and leave the property! The staff was happy to help with that, and they provide information how to get to the island. Meals are served at the same time, the staff will ask for your order couple of hours in advance. Between meals you can order snacks and drinks. Usually there was a daily vegetarian and fish dish to choose from, prices were about 30 000 cop/meal. Water and coffee is served throughout the day free of charge. Some of the older reviews say that there’s no water toilets and shower times are limited: this is NOT the case anymore! Toilets work with water and you can shower anytime. Note that shower water is brought from Cartagena so shouldn’t be overused. You also need to use hostel’s own shampoo because of the sensitive mangroves.

The rooms are tiny, boiling, noisy and dirty. The walls are not complete so you can hear every noise from every room. The location is nice but so it every hostel in a Rincon, most of which are in the beach. For budget travellers it’s one of the only options sadly. On a positive note they have free refillable water which is great.
