The location was fantastic, the room was better than expected, great value. The extras of having coffee, the warm welcome and information given by Raul was super helpful. We stayed in a private room/bathroom, even had a closed in balcony, really clean and noise free. Clearly they have been doing this a while and it shows in the details.

This hostel is run by a family, and they are incredibly kind. The host checked in with me personally daily, even with a significant language barrier (unfortunately my Spanish is not great). The bed and pillows were comfortable. Each shared room had lockers with a lock provided. Access to the property was very easy, and there was plenty of parking. The location was pretty central to a lot of sites around Cantabria and Basque Country, so even though i had to drive a lot it felt better than moving hostels every day.
