It’s not a party place, and that was perfect for me. I wanted to recharge after a week of moving around. The kitchen is small but spotless, and I appreciated the free tea and coffee corner. There’s even a little book exchange and board games for those staying in.

This hostel knows what it's doing. We got a WhatsApp message before arrival with everything we needed – house rules, local food spots, and even things to do around Banyuwangi. The staff was always available, and the room was clean and functional with a small desk and power sockets. We joined the Ijen tour and it was smooth, well-arranged, and affordable. You can feel they care about each guest.

Very calm and cozy little hostel, the host was very kind and accommodating, when he knew I was going to mount Ijen he asked me if I needed a pickup and if I needed to be woken up at pickup’s time.
