I was here for Holi (it goes on for 10 days, so definitely come early) and it was the best experience I had while in India. The staff was super welcoming and accommodating. They even let me shower after checkout so I so try to scrub out the colors from the festival. The common area upstairs has astroturf, a tiki vibe, and great for meeting other travelers. It felt like a huge family with the other solo travelers.
