Karosta Prison was an incredible place with an incredible history. We loved our tour with show elements that gave a very clear idea how the prison functioned prior settling in for the night! Great, great experience!

Very big rooms and beds. The staff lady at the reception was super friendly. You even have a kettle in the room. Some reviews say that there is no shower curtains or warm water, this is not true. They have fixed these issues by now. There are shower curtains and you can even lock the shower door to be there alone if needed. I had warm water :)

The mattress was just right for me. The kitchen was mostly empty during the early evening - I spent a few hours simply relaxing. Everything was clean and the shower was very comfortable.
