sitting out on the balcony where some other backpackers sat to chill out in the afternoon. Everyone I met were amazing, friendly and very interested in why my Husband and i were in Nelson. The uphill was a challenge but doable, the parking was hard as we had a big 4x4 but again it was doable. The owner of The Palace was a pretty cool down to earth person. We enjoyed our stay and we will go back again.
