The room exceeded our expectation! The owner was a couple and they are sooo nice. I left my glasses there and they even mailed it back to me. The room is very nice and clean and well-equipped.

This was an amazing hostel to stay in. Very clean, well kept, modern and fresh. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped with anything you needed. All the facilities were really well looked after and made it an extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay. The beds were exactly as seen in the photos online with your own TV and lockable cupboard. Very spacious. One of the best places we’ve stayed in Taiwan.

This is an incredibly modern, high tech place. It says cash only, but they do take cards. (Would be strange otherwise with all this technology everywhere). Everything is spotlessly clean. There is a coffee shop downstairs. (Seems expensive, but the coffee is BIG and good). I had this cool room with a bed upstairs, and it was very comfortable. I really liked that it was a washbasin in the room. The common bathrooms were clean and practical. The kitchen is fully equipped, spacious and clean. Nice common areas downstairs and in the kitchen....and tables and chairs outside on the 2nd floor terrace. Superb WiFi everywhere.

It is the best location among all of the hostels in Chayi. Next to Chayi Roundabout, the center of the city, it is only a few steps to both the east and west market and famas Wenhua rd night markets. The facility is pretty new and clean. The room is spacious. Staff are all very nice and warm and also very helpful.

There are no staff in the hostel and you need to get the password from the owner. It create a self check-in mode and make you feel like home. The lobby is great and make you can stay relax at the moment. For us, we stay in the lobby for few hours with nice feeling. Home feeling. Whole hostel use wood style to make you relax. Inside the room with a very comfortable bed and mad on the ground. Let you have fun with your friend. The lobby also provide guitar and board game. I can say this hostel is great.

Light Hostel is located only a 10-minute walk from Chiayi Railway Station. It provides a convenient transportation, having two bus stations close to Hostel, and a 24-hour market nearby.

The place is very clean. The staff is very helpful. The location is very good, less than 10 minutes by walking to train station and bus stops to Fenqihu and Alishan.

Great location, close to the main station, restaurants, cafes and the night market was only a 20 minute walk away. The room was clean and comfortable. The communal area was a nice place to have breakfast and drinks throughout the day. Tea and coffee were provided free, and on the weekends they provided bread and steamed buns, there is a steamer and toaster for you to make your own breakfast. I thought it was a great setup. I would recommend and stay again.
