Located on the shore of Lake Wörth, the Jugend- und Familiengästehaus Cap Wörth offers non-smoking accommodation with a private beach. Great accomodation for the price. I had a bike race in Velden on the day of check-out and the personel let me leave around 5 pm, because they knew I would appreciate the shower. Good breakfast, very friendly staff.

The centre of Villach is a 10-minute walk from the Jugend- und Familiengästehaus, which offers simply furnished rooms. Breakfast and half-board are available, and at a surcharge, a sauna can be used. Excellent value and for the price paid I couldn’t ask for better place to stay. Ladies at the front desk were helpful and friendly, good breakfast included, the room was comfortable, clean and close to the center of Villach and the Italian border. I used this place as a stopover on my way south to Italy but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to do some local exploration as there is so much to see and do in the vicinity of Villach. Highly recommended.
