LOVED my stay here!! It’s such a cute hostel. The staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful, the pool was wonderful, and the food was unreal! The place is very clean and you can tell they pay attention to all the small details as well which I appreciated. It does feel more like a hotel with dorms rather than a hostel as it’s not the most social. But it was exactly what I was looking for with some relaxing time!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and à la carte restaurant and a garden, Tiki Hut Hostel is located just a few steps from Palomino Beach right between Palomino and San Salvador rivers. I enjoyed the community areas, there are many spaces to hang out, read something or have a good chat with other travellers.

A must visit place if staying in Palomino. I am sad to be leaving and will be returning if I’m any where palomino again. The location is central a 5 minute walk from the beach and on the main strip with all the restaurants and bars. The Maria Mulata bar is for sure the most lively place with music and games going on every night. The food is also great it’s the busiest spot in Palomino for good reason. Have no said this the rooms and quiet and the garden is a lovely place to hang out- equipped with hammocks and the pets: an owl, two macaw parrots (that will speak to you in Spanish if your lucky), a cat and a couple of iguanas. The workers in this hostel are so lovely and make you a part of their family instantly on arrival. Thank you all at Maria Mulata!

The place is amazingly cute and really has charm built out of wood. There is lots of communal places to hang out in the shade and hamacas. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. The kitchen is one of the best i"ve seen while traveling: 8 hotplaces and at least 10 pans. And the pans are absolutely not the rotten carcinogenic pans you sometimes find in hostels. The often clean the kitchen so it stays nice and clean. Omar has the beat tips om where to eat or what to do. Of course if you look for AC and pool it might not be your vibe. Bur for backpackers like me it is a dream. I ended up staying a week there. And already want to go back.

I stayed here the night before and after going up to La Guajira. The staff are so kind and helpful and there is a lovely terrace on the top floor.

Hostal La Media Luna Palomino is located among the scenic trees and plants of Palomino and only 1 km away from the nearest beach. The open-air hostel offers a shared lounge. The host was so kind and friendly! we both were ill when visiting and he made us special tea to help. Rooms were comfortable, with mosquito nets and hammocks outside. Pool area was stunning! loungers & lovely natural pool in nice gardens.

I had a great experience staying at Pomelo hostel! It is located on a beautiful tropical farm with a lovely pool. The hosts, Nina and Camillo, are both very kind and accommodating. The hostel is just a ten-minute walk to Rio Ancho and a ten-minute moto ride to Palomino, where there are great restaurants and beautiful beaches. The property feels like a little paradise, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Rancheria Utta có khu vườn, khu vực bãi biển riêng, phòng chờ chung và nhà hàng ở Cabo de la Vela. Với quầy bar, chỗ nghỉ nằm cách Bãi biển Cabo de la Vela Beach 1.8 km. Rancheria Utta exceeded our expectations. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the peaceful energy of the place. The rooms are very comfortable and include a private bathroom. We especially loved the terrace, with its beautiful chinchorros and refreshing sea breeze. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is always attentive to your needs. A special thanks to Ana at the reception for her excellent organizational skills. We spoke with her for hours about the local culture and she truly made us feel at home.
