Pool area is beautiful and the gardens around as well. It's not located on the main street of the town, but it's a 10-minute walk away. Beach is close too.

I stayed here the night before and after going up to La Guajira. The staff are so kind and helpful and there is a lovely terrace on the top floor.

The open-air hostel offers a shared lounge. the welcoming and very friendly owner, the beautiful property with pool, quiet part of the town but still very close to the beach and main street

I had a great experience staying at Pomelo hostel! It is located on a beautiful tropical farm with a lovely pool. The hosts, Nina and Camillo, are both very kind and accommodating. The hostel is just a ten-minute walk to Rio Ancho and a ten-minute moto ride to Palomino, where there are great restaurants and beautiful beaches. The property feels like a little paradise, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

We had perfect days at Ranchería Utta. We stayed for three nights, but if I had known how special the energy of Cabo de la Vela is, and how serene and comfortable the ranchería would be, I would have stayed longer. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and everyone who works there is kind and helpful. The lodge is beautifully maintained, and the room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I will definitely come back someday — everything was truly special. A heartfelt thank you especially to Gabriel, Andrés, and Will, with whom we had the most contact. A big hug!
