They offer both food service and a self-catering kitchen. We went for a random walk and discovered the trail leading to 2 dinosaur footprint locations. About 2 hours return from the lodge. Cross over the river and head up towards the old church. A fairly flat path with great views following the contours of the mountains. We did it with closed sandals.

The room and bathroom were very clean and modern. Having a fan during the very hot week was appreciated. It cooled the room enough to sleep. Having a TV was great. I could relax in the room.
