HakoneHOSTEL1914 is located in Hakone, 6 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Train and bus services are available. All rooms are air conditioned. Shared bathroom. Kana was beyond helpful. She helped with every little detail I asked. She even popped down to the bus stop I was waiting at to update her original directions after discovering a change in schedules. And my dorm bunk bed was perfection, large, comfortable, private with a Japanese screen.

Nestled a 15-minute up-hill walk or a 4-minute bus ride away from Hakone Yumoto Station, Onsen Hostel K's House Hakone offers free WiFi throughout the entire property and an open-air hot-spring bath. I did the upgrade for a private room. It was absolutely amazing!!! A view to just stay in the room and relax. The team was super helpful and hospitable.

Wonderful traditional house with perfect amenities for a family stay. We stayed here with a small child, and enjoyed our time here. The room is spacious and clean. Bathrooms and the shared kitchen are exceptionally equipped, there were even coffee filters and beans provided for Hario V60 brewer! We had a great time, totally recommended.

I stayed here near new year’s eve until the new year. The place is not far from Yugawara station and kombinis. The place felt homey; I really liked the mattress and blanket, so comfy I always woke up late. I didn’t talk much with the staff, I wish I could but language barrier sucked. However, from the little interaction I had, you can tell he was sympa and actually wanted to interact and talk more with the guests. He offered me NYE soba which was very very nice.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The facilities are great and its presented with so much love and care. The location is great and does not really come out on the photos. You are literally opposite Odawara Castle and in the middle of the town. A little gem and one of the best places we stayed during our tour.

Open in April 2017, IZA Enoshima Guest House is located just a 3-minute walk from Enoshima Station and a 5-minute stroll from Katase-Enoshima Station. The staff were very helpful and friendly. This was probably my comfiest sleep of the whole trip, despite my being in a top bunk, something I was a little nervous about. The amenities, shower area and space are very good for a cheap room too. I didn't partake in the bar area but it looked decent and well stocked and there was plenty of options nearby too. Absolutely would stay here again.

Nice little family run hostel, very clean and modern with extras like lockers and washing machine. Great location in the heart of Chinatown

Matatagpuan ang plumhostel sa Odawara, 16 minutong lakad mula sa Miyukinohama Beach at 6.7 km mula sa Hakone-Yumoto Station. Super friendly owner. Great location close to train station. Super clean facilities. Coffee/tea, kitchen available. Comfortable bed.

Nagtatampok ng bar, ang Guest House Kamejikan -turtle time- ay matatagpuan sa Kamakura sa rehiyon ng Kanagawa, 4 minutong lakad mula sa Kamakura Zaimokuza Beach at 2.5 km mula sa Tsurugaoka Hachimangū... Very lovely guesthouse! We really enjoyed our stay here. We love the Japanese room. (The futons were very comfortable.) The shared dining / living room was also very charming with old Japanese house feel. The shared bathroom and toilets were also very clean. The staffs were very friendly. We love all the little turtle decorations and also the selection of complimentary teas available.
