The host, Michikusa, was very good with communication and offered to collect me from Kawaguchiko train station as well as drop me off the day I departed. This was a great help and very much appreciated! On check in Michikusa recommended a few points of interest to visit during my stay according to the weather. I managed to tick most of them off which made for a great day exploring the beautiful surrounding nature. The hostel is well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a pleasure staying there and I would 100% return on my next visit! Thank you!

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Wonderful stay and kind staff 🤍🤍 I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. But what truly made my experience special was the kindness of the staff, especially Minori, who was very helpful even after my stay. She kindly sent me my forgotten item from Japan with great care and attention. I really appreciate their professionalism and warm hospitality. I would be happy to stay here again when I visit Japan next time.

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. The place was super cozy and looked a little bit traditional. The woman at reception was super warm and helpful. She gave me tips to get a nice dinner and I bought a breakfast with them (Highly recommended!).

We stayed at a beautiful traditional Japanese room with beds on the floor which were very comfortable to my surprise. The bathrooms/shower space was big and clean and the guy in the reception was kind and very helpful. There was also an option to take a bike (for free) which was great and allowed us to easily explore the area.

The owner is an absolute sweetheart. She runs the hostel by herself and does all the cleaning and hostel preparations for your arrival. She is fluent in English as well which is a big plus to foreign travelers. I contacted her that I was going to be checking in slightly late and she said it was alright. The first night I stayed in a bunk and the 2nd night was a private room. I slept very well both nights and the hostel has a very home-y feeling to it. The location is also excellent being <10minute walk from Gekkouji station. Owner recommended me to visit Arakurayama park to get a view of Mt fuji and it was worth it. I went at sunrise with other travelers. It is about 15 minute walk to the location.

We booked this accommodation at the very last minute as it was the only option available in Fujiyoshida at the time. Because of that, we had no expectations, but staying in this guesthouse turned out to be one of the best experiences of our lives. On our way to the village, we read that the house has been preserved in a traditional style for over 90 years, which immediately impressed us. We were welcomed by the sweetest elderly lady, who speaks English in the most charming way and kindly showed us the entire house. Everything was incredibly clean and beautiful. Even though the facilities (bathroom, toilet, kitchen) are shared, they always looked as if they had just been cleaned right before we arrived. Sleeping on the floor was surprisingly the most comfortable sleep we’ve ever had - unbelievably cozy. The absolute highlight was the morning. We opened the window and were greeted by a perfect 10/10 view of Mount Fuji that day. We were left completely breathless. We truly wished we had stayed more than one night. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. Chỗ nghĩ rất thoải mái và thuận tiện. Từ khách sạn đến công viên Oishi chỉ đi bộ 2 phút nên rất thuận tiện để ngắm núi Phú Sĩ bất cứ khi nào bạn muốn. Nhân viên rất thân thiện.

Fuji station 300m, cách trạm xe bus 50m, hostel có cái sân thượng view núi Phú Sĩ siêu siêu đáng tiền, chả cần đi đâu xa lên đây tha hồ ảnh sống ảo. Mình đánh giá 10/10: phòng tầm 12m2, gồm 2 giường tầng, chăn gối siêu mềm mại sạch sẽ, phòng tắm và vệ sinh chia nam nữ riêng, sạch sẽ, có đủ sữa tắm dầu gội xả xịn sò, có cả sữa dưỡng thể, tẩy trang, free máy giặt, máy sấy cần tiền xu để sử dụng. Hostel không có thang máy, may bọn mình ở tầng 1, tầng 1 có không gian chung có máy nước nóng, máy pha cafe, phía sau có nhà bếp có tủ lạnh, lò vi sóng, nồi niêu bát đũa bếp để tự nấu. Hostel check in check out tự động, bạn sẽ được gửi mật khẩu phòng vào hôm check in, gửi hành lý thì tầm 10h mới có nhân viên lúc ý họ mới nhận, còn trước đó phải tự bảo quản đồ, 7/11 và Family mart cách tầm 400m nhưng đi đường dốc nên cảm giác khá mệt, giá phòng 2300k/đêm/4 người.
