The neighborhood is East Hollywood and there's nothing much around, but it's a good location if you want to be just a short cab ride to Downtown LA, Hollywood and Silver Lake. Recommended!!

They also make sure that the kind and secure atmosphere in this shared-apartment hostel is not perturbed by not allowing only allowing civilized guests. All rooms and facilities are clean and functional, the rooms are spacious enough to not get in each other's way. Both locations (Hayvenhurst and Debra) are similar in cleanliness and general appeal. Public transport and supermarkets are easily reached and in walking distance. The airport LAX seems far away, but it is actually quite comfortable to get there by the nearby FlyAway Shuttle bus (9.55$ per ride). The area is considered safe. I will definitely stay here again when I return to LA.
