I saw around 5 staff during my stay and they were all very accommodating and helpful. The location was PERFECT! It is near everything I needed to go to, and I only walked! I only needed to take the train on my arrival and when I had to leave. There was a KFC and a Panda Express less than 5 mins away, and a lot of other restos/bars and convenience stores too. It was clean everywhere, all the time. They clean the toilets all throughout the day and you have everything you need -- from tissue (all kinds) to shampoo and soaps, hair dryer and iron. Free 'breakfast'!. Fruits, scones, bread, all kinds of spreads and teas, coffee are also available all day. They also have cereals and oats. Thank you Yana! The scones were delicious! It was surprisingly quiet! I've been to quite a few hostels all over the world and I did not expect it would be so quiet especially at night. The guests respect the rules. Everyone kept their noise to a bare minimum and even when around 4-5 people are having breakfast at the same time, no one is talking! There were quite a few times when I heard some guests talking a bit loud but it didn't last longer than 15 mins. It was also in the afternoon so did not affect my sleep. The cubicles were quite small, I expected it, but it had what I needed -- a small side table with lights and sockets. I had to put my luggage on the bed though to be able to pack prooperly. It was quite cold and I needed to ask for an extra blanket which the lady gave me without hesitation. For the price I had to pay, I would say it's worth it. It is not the most spacious but if you're looking for something affordable, it is your best bet! I am so glad to have booked Interfaith Retreats and I couldn't recommend them enough!

The room was small but quite comfortable, and it was perfectly clean and convenient. The breakfast, coffee, cocoa, and all other food/drink and amenities were excellent! The people were amazingly helpful and warmhearted, and they went out of their way to provide very useful practical information that made everything relaxed and totally stress-free. For anyone looking for a tremendous cost-performance value in Manhattan, I most highly recommend American Dream!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, U.S. Pacific Hotel offers accommodation that is accessible by stairs, in New York. Rooms include work desk and air conditioning. When considering the prices of other hotels, which are much more expensive, this hotel has received a number of unfavourable reviews. I was initially hesitant about booking, especially since I reserved this hotel twice for our trip—once for our arrival and once for our departure from the USA. However, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is close to several metro lines. There is always someone at the reception available 24 hours a day, and they respond quickly to messages. While the room is small, as stated in the listing, it provides everything you need: clean towels, bedding, and both a room and a shared bathroom. The bathroom is cleaned several times a day. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. I encourage everyone to read the details provided when booking. Don't blame the hotel if you expected a larger room with amenities like a TV, balcony, microwave, fridge, etc. What is stated on the booking page is what you will receive. Another plus is friendly staff who work at the reception.
