We had a wonderful stay. Love the place, fantastic hosts with amazing service,great location, good food. It was everything we would wish for on our holidays. The best stay so far ,was very sad to leave. We will be back.

The modern nonsmoking rooms were renovated in 2015 and feature views of the surrounding Alpine landscape, a flat-screen cable TV, seating area, desk, safe, and bathroom with a hairdryer, make-up mirror, and free toiletries. Most rooms have a balcony. The restaurant Esszimmer serves regional and international cuisine. In fine weather, guests can dine on the south-facing terrace and enjoy the mountain views. Gasthof Weissenbach also features a bar and a wine cellar stocking a selection of fine Austrian and French wines. A ski and bicycle storage room, as well as free private parking, are available on site. Hiking and cycling trails, as well as a cross-country ski run, start right outside. The Postalm Ski Area is a 15-minute drive away, and the Dachstein West Ski Area can be reached in a 45-minute drive. Buses to Salzburg and Bad Ischl stop right next to the property. The towns of Bad Ischl, Gmunden, Hallstatt and Salzburg can be reached by car in 15 to 45 minutes.
