The hotel is excellent, in the center of Kirchberg. The hotel's position is excellent for the Fleckalmbahn and Maierlbahn cable. The ski bus often passes within a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are clean, with nice furniture. Parking is easily available. Breakfast is high quality and varied. I would especially like to praise the staff who are kind and warm. We would like to thank the patient receptionist who helped us with buying a ski pass and transportation. The whole atmosphere in the hotel as soon as you enter is very cozy.

In summer the Metzgerwirt organizes guided cycle tours and hikes to the hotel's mountain hut on the Legeralm pasture, which is over 500 years old - complete with a traditional meal.
