We, Michaela and Peter, live and work in Upper Bavaria and spend almost every free minute in our adopted home, the Ausseerland. We are inspired by Scandinavian design, the skilful reduction to clear shapes, combined with natural colors and materials that radiate warmth and security. We look forward to guests who appreciate this and spend an eventful, relaxing and happy vacation in our heart region.

A cottage for four people completely made of wood with plenty of space for cozy get-togethers and privacy, lovingly furnished with an eye for the essential and the beautiful. Located in Thörl near Bad Mitterndorf in the beautiful Ausseerland, surrounded by mountains and lakes in one of the most beautiful regions of Austria, the Styrian Salzkammergut. Enjoy the special atmosphere of an ecological wooden house, the comfortable space, the great view of the imposing Grimming, the secure terrace and the cozy garden with its small stream.

Thörl 149 is located quietly and yet close to town in Thörl near Bad Mitterndorf in the enchantingly beautiful Ausseerland. All year round you can enjoy the region with its striking mountains such as the Loser, the Grimming and the Tote Gebirge, the picturesque villages of Altaussee, Bad Aussee, Grundlsee and Bad Mitterndorf, the crystal clear larger and smaller lakes, the regional gastronomy as well as the friendly and proud people with their lively traditions. In winter you can reach the valley station to the skiing area Tauplitz in only 300 m distance. A free ski bus takes you from there to one of the snowiest ski areas in the Alps. You can also expect well-maintained cross-country ski trails, the Grimmingtherme, the ski jump Kulm, adventurous ski tours, winter and snowshoe hikes. From spring to autumn, our vacation home is the starting point for varied hikes, mountain bike tours, riding lessons, carriage rides, rounds of golf at the Golfclub Ausseerland or swimming excursions to our lakes, outdoor pools or thermal baths.
