Marianne was very friendly and very helpful. My Junior Suite had an amazing view and was very spacious. It was lovely decorated and very clean. Everyone was super friendly. Great location as well and the restaurant downstairs had very nice food.

A former tavern of the Rein Monastery, the traditional Villa Salis enjoys views of the mountains of the Ausserland Region. It is located in the center of Altaussee and offers historic accommodations and a restaurant. Villa Salis’s Berndl Restaurant is made up of several characteristic Alpine dining rooms, some of them featuring open fireplaces or stoves. Cross-country skiing trails and the ski bus stop to the Loser ski area, which is approximately 1.2 mi away, are available just in front of the Villa. The shores of Ausseersee Lake can be reached within 5 minutes’ walk. A wellness area can be used in a partner hotel against a surcharge. It can be reached by car in 5 minutes.
